Advanced Clustering Technologies has just announced the latest version of its ClusterVisor cluster management software solution will be available following a launch webinar at 1 p.m. Central on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

ClusterVisor provides the tools necessary to deploy, provision, manage, monitor, and maintain an HPC cluster for its lifetime. The software can be installed in the traditional way on the head node or login node but there are many advantages to installing it via the ClusterVisor appliance, a dedicated 1U server that can easily support hundreds of nodes.

The appliance comes pre-installed, making deployment easy with full warranty and advanced replacement services. The ClusterVisor appliance holds images for an entire system, making it a disaster recovery solution.

Features of the new version include:

• a full suite of node control and management tools
• user and group account management and role based access control
• customizable dashboards to see cluster-wide information and compare nodes or devices
• a statistics and monitoring engine to maintain cluster health; any stat can become an alert
• tools to manage the entire cluster configuration
• a set of operating system provisioning tools including an image cloner
• integration with SLURM in order to easily see jobs running on the system
• command line tools and an intuitive Web GUI

ClusterVisor will also include Advanced Clustering’s new AI log file analysis tool called LogVisor AI. LogVisor AI analyzes log files and classifies the log entries by severity so alerts can be  created to avoid errors of failures.
