Advanced Clustering Technologies, Inc. is a leading provider of High Performance Computing systems to customers in Higher Education, Government and Research Institutions across the country. 2023 marks our 22nd year in business and we are looking to expand our team with an additional Technical Support Engineer.

About the role
The position’s main responsibility is providing expert-level email and phone based technical support on our turn-key Linux cluster systems and servers. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, good communicator that enjoys solving problems and providing best-in-class customer support.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Respond to customer inquiries, via email and phone
* Work with teammates to resolve problems
* Document technical problems and solutions
* Handling customer RMA transactions
* Diagonse and fix problems with servers sent in for repair

Skills and qualifications:
* Knowledge of Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS a plus)
* Intermediate to Advanced hardware troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of PC components and assembly
* Basic networking skills required (switches, TCP/IP, routing, hardware, etc.)
* Knowledge of High-Performance computing, scientific code, Fortran, C, and MPI are desired
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Interest in learning about new technologies
* Honesty, integrity and a solid work ethic are mandatory
