COMING SOON: 4-way E5 systems and

Kepler NVIDIA graphics cards

Last week, Intel announced the latest edition to its E5 family of processors: the E5-4600. This new product series is intended for use in quad-processor servers, thus providing a way to increase performance and cost-efficiency for larger workloads.

The new E5-4600s offer up to eight cores per processor (for a maximum of 32 cores per server), 20MB of L3 cache and 1.5TB of memory capcity.

Another new product that will soon be available is NVIDIA's Kepler GPU, part of the Tesla GPU family, that offers greater performance and energy efficiency than its predecessors.

The redesigned architecture of the Kepler GPU features the ability to dynamically generate new threads as needed and the capability for multiple CPU cores to simultaneously access the CUDA cores on one GPU, making it ideal for parallel computing applications.

We anticipate being able to provide systems based on these new innovations in the next few months. Keep reading this newsletter for more information and release dates, and visit us anytime at
