Kansas City, KS, June 4, 2013 - Advanced Clustering Technologies, Inc., a provider of high performance computer clusters, is pleased to announce its sponsorship for the first MVAPICH User Group (MUG) meeting on August 26 – 27, 2013 at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. The MUG meeting will provide an open forum for all attendees (users, system administrators, researchers, engineers, and students) to discuss and share their knowledge on using MVAPICH2 and MVAPICH2-X, on large-scale systems and for a diverse set of applications.
“We’ve enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Dr. Dhabaleswar Panda and The Ohio State University that made for sponsoring this event the natural thing to do,” said Kyle Sheumaker, CTO of Advanced Clustering Technologies. “And we are excited to be in on this at the start of what we believe will be a well-attended annual event that resonates well with the various users and uses of high performance computing.”
The event includes a set of talks from experts in the field, presentations from the MVAPICH2 team on tuning and optimization strategies for various components, trouble shooting guidelines, contributed presentations, an open mic session, and an interactive/hands-on session with the MVAPICH2 developers in a one-to-one manner to discuss issues and problems.
Advanced registration deadline is July 15, 2013.
