Rice University Oil & Gas HPC Conference

March 15-16, 2017
Houston, TX
Rice University’s Oil and Gas High Performance Computing Conference facilitates networking and discussion focused on computing and information technology challenges and needs in the oil and gas industry.

Coalition for Advancing Digital Research & Education (CADRE)
April 11-12
Stillwater, OK
In its inaugural year, CADRE invites a consortium of regional researchers and leaders interested in high performance computing, high speed networks, data analysis and visualization, creating and implementing data management plans, applying best practices for organizing data, and storing, archiving and sharing data once a project is completed. The event is being hosted by Oklahoma State University.

GPU Technology Conference
May 8-11
San Jose, CA
GTC is the largest event of the year for GPU developers. It offers training and showcases vital computing work including artificial intelligence and deep learning, healthcare, virtual reality, accelerated analytics, and self-driving cars.

International Workshop on High-Performance Big Data Computing (HPBDC)
May 29
Orlando, FL
This event provides a forum for scientists and engineers in academia and industry to present their latest research findings on major and emerging topics in this field.

Practice and Experience in Advanced Resaarch Computing (PEARC17)
June 9-13
New Orleans
PEARC17 replaces the successful five-year XSEDE conference series and plans to grow and include additional campus, national, and international cyberinfrastructure and research computing partners. The theme of this year’s conference is Sustainability, Success and Impact.

Oklahoma Supercomputing Symposium
TBA (usually September)
Norman, OK
Now in its 15th year, the Oklahoma Supercomputing Symposium is the oldest annual event of its kind in an EPSCoR jurisdiction. A great place for the HPC community in the Oklahoma area to meet and interact.

Nov. 12-17
Denver
The largest show within the supercomputing industry, SC17 brings together the international high performance computing community—a gathering of scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, programmers, system administrators and developers.
