No cluster is too small or budget constrained for Advanced Clustering's HPC cluster solutions.  No matter the the size, we still offer all of the same level of services and personal support.  This customer had a very limited budget so we provided a system based on our economical single processor Pinnacle 1X3202 rackmount servers.

This Apex HPC cluster solution was installed at a major private American University.  The configuration uses DDR high speed infiniband interconnect between nodes, and our Pinnacle 1X5402 rackmount server as the compute nodes.  The cluster node count fit perfectly with our affordable 24 port InfiniBand switches.

A US Government customer purchased this 70 node Apex HPC cluster solution.  The customer's application was not parallel so there was no reason for a high speed interconnect like InfiniBand.  Remote manageability with a graphical user interface was a big concern so a high end KVM system with KVM over IP functionality.  Since this was their first cluster purchase they selected to have Advanced Clustering's highly trained and knowledgeable installation crew on-site to help them setup their new cluster and get it running to it's peak performance.
